About Us

Our Vision
The vision of the Sunrise unit is to provide a safe, happy, supportive,  natural, classroom environment, for children with physical disabilities living within a 25km radius of the school. The unit will be run on donations and will provide a school for children who are currently unable to receive any education and therapy.

The Founders

Yayasan Membina Api Cinta Kasih (YAMACK)
This non-profit organization, based in Bali, was founded in 1998 by a diverse collection of individuals, all of whom are actively concerned with finding solutions to environmental, social and educational problems and challenges.

History of YAMACK

YAMACK has been involved in a number of community based projects since their formation in 1998. Other projects sponsored by Yamack include the Pupuan Kindergarten redevelopment and library, village rubbish recycling, Sunrise School in Kerobokan, and the development of natural pesticides and fertilisers.

Operating from the understanding that we can be the change that we want to see in the world, the organisation’s primary focus is the implementation of education and social welfare projects aimed at reawakening strong, harmonious, benevolent and environmentally sound cultural principles and practices.
